Working in the healthcare industry can be rewarding, but for the protection of patients, it is now required that nearly all individuals who want to work within the healthcare industry must undergo the AHCA background screening process. If you work as an administrator and are responsible for day-to-day operations, are a financial officer, a licensee, or have controlling interest, you are required to undergo an AHCA background screening. Employees and contractors working for healthcare providers must be considered separately in order to decide whether they need to undergo an AHCA background screening. If volunteer, are a student, or any type of medical practitioner, you are typically required to have a background check.
AHCA background screening is a simple process. We first take a digital scan of your fingerprints, known as livescan along with a picture and send the data to the FBI who checks your information  against criminal records at the state and national level. After that, the results will be sent back to AHCA within 5 to 7 days.
The process is simple, as all you have to do is undergo Livescan fingerprinting at one of the locations offering the service, like Binary Biometrics, Inc. It will not take long to get the results, and then you can begin your career as a healthcare practitioner or support staff.
